Rare Disease – more common than you’d think
Real-world data (RWD) is becoming increasingly important for improving outcomes for rare diseases, with over 300 million people living with them around the world. Treatment for these diseases can be expensive, time consuming and complex. From diagnosis to treatment, people living with rare diseases face common challenges, but by using real-world data from multiple countries, we can better understand treatment patterns and mobilize the real-world evidence needed to influence care pathways and bolster research. Increasing awareness and advocacy for rare disease research can help bring better outcomes for those affected.
